I've asked myself this question time & time again. Why do people blog? I realize there are some people (aka my sister) who like the drama & have the need to be the center of attention....it's all good. Then there's people like myself that need a creative outlet. I'm a "wordsy" type of gal, but I'm very private, so the 2 don't necessarily meld together very well, especially when the topic is blogging.
So, what are the benefits for me:
1) I like it. It is therapeutic to get my thoughts down on paper, so to speak. Though I will not divulge my life on a computer screen, I type enough to make my little heart happy.
2) I found I have some friends out there that care. True friends that require nothing from me. THAT is probably the most worthwhile reason for me.
3) I love to read other people's blogs. Call me nosey, call me whatever you wish....I enjoy reading what other people have to say. There are some people I think are down-right lyrical with their writing. Cathy Z. & Ruth A. being 2 of those such ladies. If you've never read their blogs, do so......you won't regret it.
So, another thing I've been thinking about today..........the eating habits of my 2-year old. For those of you that have/had a 2-year old, you can totally relate. So, as I'm on the phone with my sister this morning, I ask her, "What's healthier for breakfast? Lays Sourcream Potatoe chips or chocolate donuts?" She laughs & tells me to give Camryn the Chocolate chip Teddy Grahams. Why? Well, because they're more like cereal!! Betcha didn't know that!!! Needless to say, the Sourcream chips won & all is well in my house.
Now, if we could just get the potty training started & done.
