I'm still alive!!!

Where to even begin?
For starters,
I'm actually up past 9:00 PM tonight!!
I've been so tired lately,
I've been hittin' the hay between 9-9:30.
I've been helping a friend,
by working in their office this week.
They own their own business,
& need someone to answer phones
& do "receptionist" type stuff.
They really want me full-time
& I'm actually contemplating
helping out for a little while?
I have til Monday to make a decision,
so lots of praying goin' on over here!
This has been on top of bible study 2xs a week,
after school activities,
& a couple of other "jobs" I undertook.

In other news,
did you see this?
Pretty excited about that:)
The other projects are too cute.

Aside from that,
I haven't scrapped one iota!!
My lss is having their Scrap Pink for Breast Cancer
this weekend.
So, today I finally got around
to doing some layouts she needs done.
I've done 4 layouts, a card & Halloween treat bag.
I won't be uploading pics,
but I'm hoping to scrap more on Saturday.
I really miss my "me" time.

Hoping to take the girls to see FAME!!!
I can't believe they came back out w/this movie,
but so excited to go see it:)
I realize the reviews haven't been all that great,
but the girls never saw the original,
so I'll be the judge of that!!

We're also trying to figure out costumes for this year.
Camryn's leaning towards Super Girl
& Ashlyn can't make up her mind.......
actually,
she can't even come up with any ideas
& none of mine are good!!

Not much else to report right now.
If I get to scrap on Saturday,
maybe I'll be able to upload some projects
on Sunday.........................
we'll see!!

CPS 133

Here in Pensacola,
Scrap Happy, our local scrapbook store,
is gearing up for the Scrap Pink 2009 crop,
to support October's Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I was asked to make a few
make-n-takes for this weekend.
Here's a card I made
using the current CPS 133 sketch.
I also made 2 bookmarks & a magnet,
which you can see here, if you'd like!!

It's been rainy ALL day
& I've been without power for awhile,
but I'm managing to get things done.
So, off to do more before I pick up Ashlyn.

MY blessings abound

and the Lord takes care of me
ALWAYS!!
I'm not one to be vocal on my blog
about my personal life,
& I still won't be,
but life has been tougher
in our neck of the woods.
Those of you in the retail industry understand!!
But through it all,
the Lord is almighty, loving
& takes care of us like baby lambs.
I am truly blessed with friends that care
about & love me & my family.
And my step is lighter today
because I know (& have known)
we'll be just fine!!
So, I'm still staying busy.
I've come to realize that our house
will be the house all the kids congregate to,
after school & activities.
I absolutely LOVE that.
At least I'll know where the girls are:)
Yesterday we had 5 little ones running around,
playing dress-up, dancing, throwing-up,
making breakfast for supper, playing Barbies,
getting very sleepy & grouchy
& just having FUN!!
I'm grateful that our house is available
for days like yesterday!!

Seriously!
What's new with you?
Me?
I'm staying busier than I'd like.
I mean,
if I had my choice,
I'd sit around & scrap all day,
but for some reason,
no one asked me,
so that's not happenin'.
Enjoyed the 3-day weekend
& trying to get used to my Tues & Weds
being completely jam-packed
from morning til night
every single week!!
I also started a part-time job!!
10-hours a month as a virtual assistant.
What the heck is that &
does 10-hrs. really constitute part-time?
Ya.
So that's what I've been up to.
In the meantime,
I had a friend over last week to scrap.
I felt so bad,
she brought 3 sets of pics over
& I scrapped each of her layouts
*YIKES*
She loved me for it,
but golly,
talk about hogging the scrap supplies!!
So, after doing her 3 pages,
my mojo left
& I didn't feel like scrappin' again til this weekend.
Here's a couple I managed
before the mojo left again.
It's still not back.
Both sets of pics from start of school last couple weeks.

And that's all I have.
I've been hitting the hay
around 9:00 every night.
I'm so pooped tired.
5:45 AM comes early for some reason?
Go figure!!

week #2 of school & CPS 131

Week #2 of school
& all is well:)
Camryn still isn't too sure about it,
but Ashlyn is having a blast.
Mornings have never been this good!!
Been scrapping a little
& stamping,
which is a rarity for me.
Here's a card I made
using the current CPS 131.
I used a Label Tulip honeycomb stamp
& some Hero Art bee stamps.

Not much else to report.
I'm still feeling stuck in limbo-land,
but exercising,
which helps make me feel better.
Getting ready to list some things on Craigs List
so guess I'd better get busy!!
